Detailed Itinerary
- Morning breakfast
- 8:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel (Place to be advised) and transfer to visit the genocide memorial (including audio guide and flowers to pay respect to the victims of the genocide.
- 10:00 AM: Proceed with a visit to Umusambi wetlands Sanctuary with great birdlife and hear about the project: safe the crowned cranes (before kept in private houses as pet/status symbol) and enjoy lunch there on your own account.
- 1:30 PM: Lunch in Kigali – we can advise the restaurant (own account)
- 3:30 PM: Afternoons explore Kigali city, starting with a walk in Nyamirambo; a vibrant neighborhood where you see the local lifestyle, factories, small local markets, woman Centre, Milk bar. Proceed with a city tour based on your personal wishes: Rwandan Art galleries, fashion-, jewelry-, souvenir shops or a typical Rwanda coffeeshop.
