Detailed Itinerary

  • Your adventure begins with your arrival at Kigali International Airport (TBA)
  • The VIP Meet & Greet team will provide fast track and assistance including handling  VISA and luggage support at the airport. 
  • Meet your experienced guide who will be your trusted companion throughout your entire adventure and receive a comprehensive on the exciting days ahead. 
  • Check-in at the hotel for your restful nights.  
  • Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel – 1x Double Prime room (BB)
  • Morning breakfast and check out
  • Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn more history of Rwanda (including an audio-guide and wreath to pay respect to the victims at the memorial
  • Proceed with a transfer to Nyungwe national park (6 hours’ drive)
  • Pass by the formal capital of Rwanda; Huye. You will stop at the Kings Palace and enjoy a lunch there (own account)
  • Proceed and check in at your lodge.
  • Afternoon enjoy the beautiful view from the lodge.
  • Overnight: One & Only Nyungwe house
  • 1x Double Nyungwe King room (FB)
  • Early morning breakfast
  • Transfer to the Park office for briefing and meet your local ranger
  • Chimpanzee trekking with local ranger and porters to spot the chimpanzee in the forest
  • Enjoy lunch at your lodge
  • Afternoon hike with local ranger and enjoy the 60m long canopy walkway
  • Overnight: One & Only Nyungwe house

  • Morning breakfast and check out
  • Walk with local guide along the shores of Lake Kivu (called Congo Nile trail) and pass local villages and get the feeling of the daily lifestyle.

  • Your guide and vehicle is in contact with the local guide; as soon as you want to stop walking, you can proceed by vehicle.
  • Proceed with the transfer to Musanze (Volcanoes National Park)
  • Check in at your lodge
  • End of the afternoon: Have a meeting with the gorilla doctor at the lodge to better
    understand the multifaced work being done to protect the primate. (gorilla’s,
    chimpanzees, and other primates in Rwanda)
  • Overnight at Singita Kwitonda Lodge – 1x Double Suite (FB, including premium wines, spirits, and liqueurs (excluding French Champagne).
  • Wake up at sunrise and drive the short journey to the park headquarters where briefing, porters and tea and coffee will be given before starting the adventure into the forest.
    • We offer complementary Local porters who can help with the guide to complete the gorilla tracking experience. Who will assist you with your daypack, and give you hand when the path is slippery, steep, or irregular.
  • Your guide will drive you to the starting point: Tracking can be between 90 minutes and the whole morning depending on what family group is assigned. You will spend one hour with the gorillas – sometimes moving around to stay with the gorillas or following them.
  • The guide will ensure you are in the best spots to take the most beautiful pictures and experience the breath-taking experience properly.
  • Return to your lodge for your delicious lunch and leisure time.
  • Overnight at Singita Kwitonda Lodge – 1x Double Suite (FB, including premium wines, spirits, and liqueurs (excluding French Champagne).
  • Morning breakfast and check out.
  • Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your international flight – 2.5 – 3 hours
  • Optional: charter helicopter flight Musanze – Kigali (6-seater, max. 360 kg – 30 min.)
  • Check in for your flight to Tanzania – Serengeti national park (Grumeti) (COASTAL AIR)
  • Be welcomed by your ranger from Singita and have a transfer to the lodge.
  • Check in and have a briefing about the service, options, and program of the coming safari days.
  • Overnight: Singita Faru Faru lodge (1x double & 1 single suite; all meals, beverages
    (excluding French champagne), 2 game drives per day in open safari vehicle, airstrip transfers, telephone calls, laundry service, Wi-Fi access in main area)
  • Morning breakfast
  • Enjoy today an early morning and late afternoon sundowner game drive, the time that wildlife is active and the cats hunting for food. The best chance to see the most.
  • During the hottest time of the day you can relax, enjoy your lunch, or make use of the massage options offered by the lodge (to be paid direct at the lodge)
  • You might be lucky to see the big herds of wildebeest and zebra (migration)

  • Enjoy today a visit of the Ngorongoro crater; an impressive landscape where you find Big 5 and all plain game / wildlife (except the giraffe).
  • Overnight: &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater lodge– suite with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower (three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas, and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, laundry service)

  • Transfer to Arusha and enjoy the daily lifestyle in the villages and Arusha city.
  • Have a lunch at Arusha coffee lodge and visit later the Shanga workshop. Shanga is a social enterprise, which employs people with disabilities to create unique and highquality handmade jewelry, glassware and homewares incorporating recycled materials. There are different workshops to choose from to join, based on your preferences: glassblowing, making necklace, bracelet, masai beading or a short Swahili language lesson.
  • Your guide and vehicle will be available to explore Arusha, some last shopping and the transfer to Kilimanjaro airport in time for your departure flight.
